What I Got For Christmas 2015 (Beauty, Fashion + More!)
29 December 2015
For Christmas this year, I was very lucky to receive some beautiful gifts from my friends, family and boyfriend; I'm always grateful for everything I am gifted and would like to let you all know that this post is in no way bragging. Annually, I've come to notice that my Birthday and Christmas present posts are ones that many enjoy and like to read so based on those statistics, I'm hoping you would like to see some of the presents I got for Xmas 2015.

I've already become a huge lover of shades Salted Caramel, Creme Brulee and Candied Violet.

My face lit up when I opened this pretty little purse because I'm sad and got overly excited that it matched my go-to handbag.
Pandora Sterling Silver and 14Ct Gold 'Castle & Crown' Charm
Feeling completely and utterly spoilt, my boyfriend's mum gifted me this cute, luxury charm because I'm obsessed with Disney and it looked like Cinderella's castle :)
Vintage Pink Decorative Glass Pot
My grandparents know me too well - I love qwerky/vintage bits&bobs for my room, especially cases to store makeup/beauty items in :-) Comment below what you think I should use this to hold?!
Paperchase Owl and Floral Notebooks
This year I found out that I'm obsessed with list writing and being organised so what else would be the perfect present for me than these notebooks from my favourite stationery shop - PAPERCHASE!
After opening all my goodies on Christmas Day, I was overwhelmed to have received so many gorgeous, luxurious and well-thought-out gifts. I'm so lucky to have friends and family who think to buy me such amazing things and it was so fun purchasing my gifts for them back as a huge thank you for being there for me throughout 2015 (CRINGE)!
Oh...I almost forgot! I purposely avoided uploading any images of new clothing because I'd like to feature them in some upcoming posts as we go into the new year :-) Also, I have the infamous Ikea Malm Dressing table to store my makeup in/on now - wooo organisation at last!!
Thank you all for making 2015 a special blogging year for me.

Making A Gingerbread House
27 December 2015
Today I've got of a bit of a belated Christmas post, although it is still the festive season. On Christmas Eve, my boyfriend and I decided to make a gingerbread house and decorate it. Luckily, IKEA sold pre-made gingerbread pieces that we Aidan structured into a sturdy ginger home followed by myself making the roof and building pretty, decorating everything with icing sugar, coloured designer icings and lots of sweets.
Here's the creating process through photos...
It was really fun making a Christmas/Seasonal Themed food post. I'm hoping to make this an annual thing; also, I may begin to upload baking posts in the coming year. If you like these styled posts, let me know.
Most importantly, this post was a #holidaycollab with some of my lovely girl blogger friends I collaborated with earlier on in the year. If you want to take a look at their festive posts (fashion, food etc) then click on their links below :
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas - leave me a comment letting me know what you got!

Festive Nail Polishes
23 December 2015
Nail polishes become one of my favourite things around Christmas time. During the rest of the year, I usually find painting my nails an irritating chore but when Christmas arrives, I can't help feeling completely happy as I spruce up my nails with a red, green or glitter polish.
At the beginning of the month, I attended Clothes Show Live with my best friend, Jess, and I received tonnes more nail varnishes to add to my winter/Christmas collection - a few of which will be included in this mini top 5 post. Enjoy! x

~ Winter Ball ~
21 December 2015
Hey Everyone! Sorry for the lack of seasonal posts (not that this is any better) but A levels have literally taken over my life, along with extra activities like pantomime rehearsals and driving lessons. Hopefully I will keep this up over the Winter holidays and the New Year because I would love to be as active as I was during the Summer!!
Anyway, today I'd like to write about my Friday Evening at my school's Winter Ball - celebrating the hard work we've all put into playing on the Foosball table in the common room our AS/A levels so far and to, of course, celebrate Christmas itself. I absolutely loved the venue, the colours used to decorate were very seasonally appropriate and the dance floor was so much better than my prom!!
Onto my favourite part... GETTING READY!
As always, makeup is the best part whenever I'm getting ready to go out. The focus tonight was on my eyes because I wanted them to match my silver and black outfit. Before applying facial makeup, I went straight to my eyes because when black is involved, fallout is crazy!!! I stuck cellotape from underneath the corner of my eye to the point of my brow to create a smooth, neat line where the shadow and liner would finish. Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette came in handy; I applied verve over the top of Mac's Bare Study to form a silver undertone on the lid, followed by pistol in the crease to begin layering. Black Out, an intense, pure black, was placed in the outer corner and crease layer by layer until built to my desired look. I finished my eyes by placing silver glitter all over my lid.

I wore large, silver statement jewellery to cover up big areas of bare skin - i.e my neck and arms. I absolutely love the black and silver theme I went for, despite originally planning to wear royal blue, like my bestie Jess. Also, Jess offered to curl my locks because I wanted to make my hair really voluminous and bouncy to take attention away from my chubby face.
Before leaving for the ball, Jess and I met with our friend Harvey to take some cute selfies. We also had a couple glasses of Prosecco - maybe Harvey had a few too many glasses...
The night finished up being one of the best nights I've had in a long while. I absolutely loved spending time outside of school with new, and old, friends and having so much fun. Surprisingly, the music was fab too and everyone was dancing the entire evening (none of that awkward, tense atmosphere with noone on the dance floor).
Thank you for reading, I hope to be posting again before Christmas. What would you like to see?

Make Yourself Sparkle This Winter!
2 December 2015
We all know that winter is truly here: the cold weather has swiftly approached, it's already the final month of the year and everyone is putting up their Christmas decorations. I am so excited for Christmas this every year, and love to find new glittery beauty products to make my face sparkle all winter-round.
This year I finally purchased one of many beauty bloggers favourite highend highlighters - the infamous Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Powder in AURA!!! I couldn't resist adding another gorgeous highlighter to my collection and even better, it completely unique to any that I already own.
Encased in a chunky, champagne coloured compact, this peachy, golden baked glitter ball had me in awe; it was definitely my favourite shade out of the three on offer (Lit + Luminous)! There is soooo much sparkle through product and the formulation is insanely pigmented so a little goes a VERY long way - using the contour brush from the Real Techniques Bold Metals range provides precise application to the cheekbones followed by a fluffy brush to thoroughly blend and avoid that 'glitter ball mess' look.
The peachy tone in Aura majorly contributes to the overall Christmas vibe to the product - without that peachy glow, my complexion would be completely washed out and their would be no colour on my cheeks to give any depth to my makeup look. Something I have become really fond of in the makeup world recently is the definition you can form by applying different colours to areas of the face. Contouring has impacted insane amounts in the makeup industry this year - it is the highlighters turn to take the limelight in 2016, does anyone else agree?!
Being a performer, I also bought this product as an added bonus because it states that you can use it to illuminate your body too. This would be amazing on the collarbones/arms for my dance/theatre shows - I can imagine it would catch the stagelights wonderfully.
Sorry for my lack of posts and absence over the past month. I will try and stay posting as much as possible - A levels are the worst!!!
Comment below if you love wearing glitter/sparkle in Winter just like me!
Lots of love
