The Oil of Dreams | Dry Skin Saviours

2 May 2018

I have extremely dry skin. If you've been following me around for a while, you will always hear me complain about my dry, dull skin. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that I don't suffer from extreme skin problems or acne; however, I do struggle a lot when it comes to finding skincare products for dry skin. Thus, I've decided to call this new skincare series 'Dry Skin Saviours', to help fellow dry skin sufferers, like myself. Most of the time, I see brands advertising 'mattifying' products, which would put my skin into complete meltdown. I'm always on the hunt for new skincare products to reverse my dry skin, get the ultimate glow and keep my face looking as youthful as possible. I mean, I'm only 19 years old but I want to keep my skin looking as young as I possibly can so it's best to start now!

Rio Rosa Mosqueta Rosehip Seed Oil

If you are looking for the perfect oil to soothe your skin, I would highly recommend checking out this luxurious Rosehip Seed Oil from Rio Rosa Mosqueta. The product is an affordable £11.99, thankfully doesn't test on animals and is suitable for vegans. Conjured from 100% natural ingredients, this stunning oil is renowned for its revitalising, and anti-ageing, properties. Not only does the oil nourish dry skin, it helps to fade the appearance of wrinkles, stretch marks and scars. There are also a variety of essential fatty acids promoting cell regeneration and also rich in vitamins A,C and E. These collectively and actively aid cell production, tissue growth and repair, as well as keeping skin looking youthful.

The number one ingredient used is the wild rose, Rosa Affines Rubiginosa. This gorgeous flower grows in the Chilean Andes and contributes to skin-boosting benefits. You need this Rose Hip Seed Oil in your life if you are struggling with skin damage and looking to restore your skin into a healthy, glowing state. I'm so happy that I've introduced this to my daily skincare routine and can see a huge difference both aesthetically and physically so far!

Overall Thoughts

I've been using this product for over a month so that I could give my genuine, honest review for you all. When applying the products, I usually use about 3 drops of oil to lather my face and neck, massaging the oil gently into my skin. The bottle recommends that you repeat circular movements for roughly 2-3 minutes to penetrate the deep layers of the epidermis. I use this more-so in evenings as part of my night skincare routine. I find this brings up skin to life, especially if I've had my face caked in makeup the entire day. The moisture and glowing nature of the product radiates a healthy look - something I've been wanting to find for a long time. Overall, I think this product is 100% worth the money and you will get lots of use from the bottle considering you only need a couple drops on each application. A high quality, affordable oil that will help anyone suffering from super dry skin! Also, if you get on well with the product, you will probably love more of the Rio Rosa Mosqueta range as they all include the rosehip oil!

What are you favourite skincare products? Can you recommend any dry skin saviours?

Lots of love
